Our purpose

At Agape Community Services, our purpose is to break generational cycles of addiction, incarceration, and absenteeism by raising up Christ-centered, pro-social leaders. We believe that when men heal and lead, families follow—creating lasting change in homes, churches, and communities. Through long-term recovery, transitional housing, mentorship, and evidence-based care, we exist to restore dignity, identity, and hope.

The Need

Short-term programs and fragmented systems are not enough. The community is in crisis, and we are stepping in with a better way.

We love our community and know they are doing their best – WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER and are here to be the missing link to restoration.

our solution: a different kind of evidence-based recovery

Agape Community Services offers a holistic, long-term solution through our 9 to 12 month therapeutic community. Everything we do is intentional, layered, and designed for lifelong impact.

Where are we in the process?

  • Our Board of Directors has been seated and initiated the mission process.

  • Agape has finalized a land purchase with Sioux City City Council.

  • The Sioux City Planning & Zoning Commission has approved the project.

  • Ongoing building design & planning with CMBA Architects & McClure Engineering

  • We are now entering the next phase of our capital campaign, focused on securing funding for our first year of operations.

On Wednesday, October 9, 2024 we celebrated with the community during our ribbon cutting ceremony, dedicating the property and praying over the next steps as we prepare for construction of the building! Watch the local KTIV news story here.
